The Distinguished Alumni Awards are given jointly by the University and the Cal Poly Pomona Alumni Association to recognize and honor alumni for their professional achievements, community service and loyalty and support to Cal Poly Pomona. Nominations are open and are received throughout the year from all university and alumni constituencies

Nominees must have achieved prominence in their chosen field of endeavor and must have brought distinction to the University and/or community through their accomplishments.
