For the past thirty years, Cal Poly Pomona’s College of Business Administration has been dedicated to preparing our graduate and undergraduate students for successful business careers in a global society.

Our program:
  • Integrates theory and practice with the polytechnic, learn-by-doing focus
  • Develops students' capability for life-long learning
  • Instills practical knowledge and skills, including the strategic use of information technology
  • Builds relationships with students, alumni and the extended community

We are committed to the success of our 22,500 graduates, who are equipped with the innovative tools and skills provided by the College’s rigorous approach to business education. By emphasizing technology and keeping our curriculum on the cutting edge, the College has garnered a solid reputation that will certainly stand the test of time. Our students are competitive in their chosen fields and top companies actively seek our graduates.

With a current enrollment of 4,390 undergraduate and graduate students, the College is a vital part of university life, accounting for one quarter of Cal Poly Pomona’s students. The College of Business Administration is expected to grow 30%, along with the campus, by 2007. Today, the faculty and students of the College are spread out over five buildings on campus. Since we are near capacity in these classrooms, the construction of additional space is critical. The existing facilities are up to forty years old and are obsolete relative to contemporary requirements of business education: power, telecommunications, case study rooms, central meeting space and breakout rooms are lacking. The College’s aged physical plant is a serious obstacle to the vision of a cohesive learning organization that brings together students, faculty, and staff in an interactive environment, taking full advantage of state-of-the-art information technology.
