The goal of the BEC is to advance business education programs. The Center currently offers the following services:

 
Business Education Library with books and Internet access for conducting research
 
Professional publications and materials
 
Current textbooks for review/curriculum adoption
 
Conference Room for small group meetings
 
Print and online Business Teacher Employment Database
  Speakers Bureau of faculty and industry professionals for speaking with students, teachers and school
      administrators
  Credential program advisors

The following is a list of future services of the Center:

  Development of a model business education program for a client high school
  Teacher training to implement such model at other schools
  Development and conducting of research projects to study and support business education curriculum
  Advocacy training for business educators to help promote business education programs to school staff, parents, and other stakeholders
  Professional development activities in specific areas of business education, e.g. technology
  Development of a comprehensive business education resource center
