Cal Poly Pomona Means Business
Many times in business we hear that leaders are only as great as their people. At Cal Poly Pomona's College of Business Administration, this includes our students, faculty, alumni, volunteers and donors.
Partnering together, we can continue to build great undergraduate and graduate programs that prepare future business leaders, professionals, and entrepreneurs who, like you, facilitate the growth of Southern California's diverse markets and communities.
Our Funding Priorities
Faculty Excellence - Attracting and retaining world-class faculty is vital to the future of the CBA. To continue providing the high-caliber education our students need to compete in today's professional environment, the College must continue to recruit recognized senior faculty and rising stars by providing resources for endowed chairs and professorships. The College must also encourage existing department capabilities by increasing funding for research and strengthening the support system for junior faculty.
Student Scholarships - It's imperative that the CBA enable our graduates to meet their professional goals and to add value to their organizations. Providing our undergraduates with scholarships increases the time they can spend in the classroom or on their other academic pursuits. Creating access to Cal Poly Pomona's polytechnic education through scholarships will help attract outstanding students from across Southern California that will build upon it's academic excellence.
The Campaign for A New Home for CBA - The CBA is about to break ground on a new, three-building complex that will provide over 80,000 square feet of space. It will feature more classrooms, faculty, staff and student club space, auditoriums and lecture halls, and an Einstein's Bros. Bagel cafe. Find out more here.
Sponsorship of Professional Centers - By supporting innovation in it's academic programs and developing new professional centers, the CBA can provide a structure for promoting faculty scholarship in strategic business areas important to our global economy and improve funding for research and disseminating new knowledge through publications, seminars and conferences. Such centers include the Supply Chain Operations Technology Research Lab and the Marketing Behavioral Research Lab.
Benefit our Students by Supporting Excellence
Our students receive the highest-quality, polytechnic education at Cal Poly Pomona that prepares them to start working with little training from day one. We could not continue to provide this first-rate education without financial support we receive from donors. With your contribution, we can continue to provide the professionals who make Southern California the economic powerhouse it is.
