Adjunct Faculty Positions

The College of Business Administration at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona (Cal Poly Pomona) invites qualified applicants to become members of our part-time temporary lecturers pool.  Teaching areas include Accounting; Computer Information Systems; Finance, Real Estate, & Law; International Business & Marketing; Management & Human Resources; and Technology & Operations Management.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  

  • Appropriate masters degree by January 2, 2009
  • Recent professional experience appropriate to the above areas
  • Relevant certification for accounting, finance, and law positions

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

  

  • ABD or Ph.D. 

  • College level teaching experience

  • Applicants whose work incorporates a global perspective and a demonstrated commitment to diversity in higher education 

APPOINTMENTS: 

Part-time, temporary lecturer appointments are usually made for one academic quarter only (approximately 11 weeks at fractions usually ranging from 4/15 to 12/15 of full-time - usually one to three classes; multiple quarter appointments are sometimes possible). Incumbents may be reappointed to subsequent quarters contingent upon funding and favorable performance evaluations.

  • Official transcript showing highest degree earned from an accredited educational institution (original required before start of employment); and
