The College of Business Administration’s graduate business programs have been named among the best in the country, according to the 2009 edition of the Princeton Review’s Best 296 Business Schools.

The Princeton Review noted that CBA gives students a solid foundation in communication, presentation and quantitative skills as well as have professors who remain active in the business world. Overall, students are happy and alumni are helpful, the Princeton Review added.

"The College of Business Administration strives to be the college of choice for students who want a real world, hands-on approach to learning,” said Interim Dean Lynn Turner.

“To be listed among the best graduate business programs in the nation reaffirms that what we are doing has some real value.”

Added Robert Franek, vice president of publishing at Princeton Review: “We select schools for this book based on our high regard for their academic programs and offerings, institutional data we collect from the schools, and the candid opinions of students attending them who rate and report on their campus experiences at the schools. We are pleased to recommend Cal Poly Pomona to readers of our book and users of our Web site as one of the best institutions they could attend to earn an MBA.”

The graduate business programs at CBA offers diverse areas of study that are catered to working professionals. Students have the option to pursue a general Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree or they can specialize in eight different career tracks such as marketing management, entrepreneurship and hospitality management. CBA also offers a unique Master of Science in Business Administration with an option in information systems.
