Faculty Position

The Department of Finance, Real Estate & Law invites applications for a one-year visiting faculty position in real estate or finance at the assistant professor level, beginning September 1, 2009, with the possibility of one additional year.  A tenure–track position may also soon be available.  The successful applicant will teach introductory and intermediate courses in real estate or finance.  Candidates with completed Ph.D. are preferred, but advanced ABD applicants will be considered.  Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  

  • Ph.D. or ABD advance degrees.
  • Recent professional experience appropriate to the above areas.
  • Relevant certification for finance and real-estate.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

  

  • ABD or Ph.D. 

  • College level teaching experience

  • Applicants whose work incorporates a global perspective and a demonstrated commitment to diversity in higher education 

APPOINTMENTS: 

This position is for one academic-year appointment at the assistant professor level.  One additional academic-year appointment may be possible.  Tenure-track appointment may become available in the future.
