UBSS Logo

United Business Student Senate (UBSS)
The United Business Student Senate is composed of representatives elected by College of Business Administration students to represent their interests. These student Senators are able to participate in department meetings and College committees to ensure that students have a voice in the College of Business Administration operations.

AMA Logo

American Marketing Association (AMA)
AMA is designed to enhance its members' marketing experience by channeling classroom theory into applied knowledge. AMA is committed to promoting social camaraderie in conjunction with professional endeavors. An amicable environment breeds collaboration and productivity in a non-intimidating atmosphere. AMA provides opportunities for achievement as individuals or in accordance with group efforts. Members are encouraged to turn skills and training into viable results within the community.

Association of Technology and Operations Management Students (ATOMS)
ATOMS exists to stimulate an interest in technology and operations management related fields. ATOMS is committed to increasing the student's awareness of the growth of TOM as well as preparing students for careers in the TOM field.

Beta Alpha Psi is the national scholastic and professional accounting fraternity founded in 1919. The primary objective of the fraternity is to encourage and give recognition to scholastic and professional excellence in the field of accounting and financial information reporting. This includes promoting the study and practice of accounting; providing opportunities for self-development and association among members and practicing accountants, and encouraging a sense of ethical, social, and public responsibility.

Beta Gamma Sigma is the international honor society recognizing outstanding achievement in business programs accredited by AACSB International – The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. Cal Poly World Traders (CPWT) is a non-profit organization for students with an interest in the growing international/global business market. Cal Poly World Traders was formed in 1991 by students & faculty member who had a common interest in the future of International Business. CPWT provides student with opportunities to enhance and enrich their knowledge not only about the business world, but also about the communities in and around Cal Poly Pomona.

Founded in 1907, Delta Sigma Pi is a professional fraternity organized to foster the study of business in universities; to encourage scholarship, social activity and the association of students for their mutual advancement by research and practice; to promote closer affiliation between the commercial world and students of commerce; and to further a higher standard of commercial ethics and culture and the civic and commercial welfare of the community.

The e-Business Society is dedicated to augmenting and enhancing Cal Poly Pomona's e-Business program. Our members are given the opportunity to gain insight into the intricacies of the e-business world and take an active role in the betterment of their education. The Society accomplishes this goal by providing relevant educational content as well as promoting active participation amongst members. In doing this, we influence the group's interdependent collaboration and idea-sharing while promoting personal student growth.

The goal of the Finance Society is to create additional opportunities for students to acquire social and professional growth, leadership skills, professional camaraderie, and industry contacts. Students will benefit from presentations by industry professionals, interaction in diverse activities, field trips, and networking during "Meet the Firms" night.

Interactive Web Development Student Association (IWDSA)
IWDSA consists of students interested in sharing the knowledge, technology, and future of interactive Web development. The goals of IWDSA are to provide an open environment and opportunities for students to increase their knowledge in web development and to further develop their skills and abilities through active involvement in organization events and activities.

Latino Business Students' Association (LBSA)
The purpose of the Latino Business Students' Association is to enable Latino students to increase their knowledge of the many opportunities in the field of business and further develop each individuals skills and abilities through participation in club events and activities.

MISSA Logo

Management Information Systems Student Association (MISSA)
MISSA is the largest club on the Cal Poly Pomona campus. The club was started by Computer Information Systems students, but is open to all students. MISSA was formed to benefit the students by exposing them to IT professionals, computing workshops, and social gatherings.

PIHRA Logo

Professionals in Human Resources Association (PIHRA)
PIHRA exists to promote understanding of the Human Resources profession among the college students and faculty, providing a better understanding of opportunities and challenges of the profession. PIHRA provides a link between business and education, which will foster cooperative relations between both communities and promote access for research and enhance career path opportunities for college students.

The Real Estate Network (REN)
Launched in 2004, The Real Estate Network's purpose is to further student interest in real estate through regular meetings, guest lecture series, off-campus travel and study groups.

Society of Law, Contracts and Purchasing
This student organization provides students with the opportunity to learn about law as a career and to facilitate student ability in applying to and attending law school; and provides students with insights concerning contract management/purchasing as a career and obtaining employment in this challenging discipline.

SIFE Logo

Students In Free Enterprise (SIFE)
Founded in 1975, SIFE is one the largest collegiate organizations in the world, active in 800 schools in the U.S. alone. The club provides students the opportunities to make a difference and to develop leadership, teamwork and communication skills through learning, practicing and teaching the principles of free enterprise. Working together as a team, SIFE students apply their classroom experiences to educational outreach programs that teach the principles of market economics, entrepreneurship, personal financial success and business ethics.

Students with an Interest in the Future of Telecommunications (SWIFT)
Students with an Interest in the Future of Telecommunications is a special interest group of Cal Poly Pomona. SWIFT exists to foster students' interests and enhance students' experiences in Telecommunications through involvement with industry professionals, hands-on laboratory work, instructor mentoring, and peer association.
